Alberta Innovates

Built a new program with Alberta Innovates and Startup Lloydminster that pairs me with local, less-technical companies that need to improve their technology posture. Three-month engagements, a few hours a week each. I developed a repeatable curriculum covering discovery, research, alignment, and solution phases.

Western Well, an Alberta well-services company, was the first client. Three months of discovery surfaced an efficiency issue in their client reporting; we made a couple of Google AppSheet improvements that shaved ~15 minutes off the admin work per report, and I built a payback-time calculator they can apply to future technical projects.

Also wrote guidelines for structuring software-vendor relationships to protect privacy, security, and IP ownership. The work across clients spans tech-stack audits, vendor management, architecture diagramming, and roadmap generation.
